Traditionaly, green tea has been used in China for centuries. Generally, lower-quality green teas are steeped hotter and longer while higher-quality teas are steeped cooler and shorter, but usually multiple times.
Cardamom is one of the most common spices seen in an Indian household. Cardamom is related to ginger and can be used in much the same way.
